Good morning to you my good friend and brother, 'AshesRising' on this Easter Sunday.
Happy sad to read your thread and experience that electric emotion as i feel the words of your good self and all my fellow gude doods in the 'unbroken chain' as you put it in your moving and beautiful post.
'direwolf0701' is never very far from my hopes and wishes. My old man, whom i loved dearly, drank himself into an early grave, leaving me with a legacy, which included my meeting up with all you kind people, so i thank you for that too, Dad.
That which doesn't kick the living shit out of us, makes us stronger, as dire might say, when he returns. i'm looking forward to seeing his hairy old hide again.
Right now i'm listening to today's 'Show on This Day in History' from '95 and letting it rain over me, watching big old snowflakes settle on my windows and melt.
